Many of our customers travel from close and afar to come and work with us, after having been to many other trainers that did not specialize in their specific issues. Schindler was surrendered to the Upper Credit Humane society back in 2005. Upon arriving there, he was so scared and would not allow any member of the staff near him. They gave me a call to come and evaluate this boy (since I am their volunteer behaviorist). Right away I saw the potential in him, I knew I could turn him around. For 2 weeks, I was his primary care taker. He would not let me approach him without growling and barking, so we took things slowly. 2 weeks after we started, Schindler started to actually like me! I was able to put a leash on him and take him out for his first walk. The staff could not believe what they saw, he was happy and bouncing around in the yard.

Schindler was adopted a few weeks later, he is doing well with his new family, who have worked extremely hard with him. Of course I have helped them every step of the way, because Schindler needed a fresh start! Read his update below :) I am very proud of this little man!

We've just had our second anniversary with Schindler and I thought you might like to see some pictures. He no longer looks like a "teenager" but I think is still a bit on the small side for a male shepherd. He is almost as tall as Dutch at the shoulder and has put on a lot of muscle, but not an ounce of fat...he's way too busy playing with his buddy for that to happen!

The shyness has shown great improvement, he likes visitors now and there is no barking or grumbling. He will approach them to lick their hands. We were able to renovate the kitchen without crating him...just made him do a stay in his "spot" in the family room!

I continue to recommend your services to people as does my vet. We still are very thankful that you saved him and helped us turn him into a magnificent young man and a great family pet.

"After going to 4 different trainers, we found Caroline and decided to give her a try with our 3 year old, out of control, black lab cross. The results speak for themselves. After completing the training classes and following her individualized advice, Caroline help turn our "little Diablo" into "our little Angel".
